Kate + Ryan / Charlevoix Engagement Session / Charlevoix Wedding Photographer

Charlevoix is by far my FAVORITE place in Michigan. My husband's parents live their and we have so much fun visiting them every summer. All of his siblings and their kids join us and it's one of my favorite summer memories. We boat around, watch fireworks from Round Lake, eat delish crepes and play with our sweet nieces and nephews.

When Kate asked me if we could do their session in Charlevoix this summer, I jumped at the opportunity. The stars aligned and we were able to do the session while we were up there visiting Todd's parents. I was able to convince them into a sunrise session - yes, you read that right - SUNRISE! Who looks this good at sunrise? Not me! haha! We had the most beautiful glowly light that bounced off the water making their pictures exactly what I envisioned in my head.

Kate and Ryan - thanks for making this morning so joyful. You guys are a dream to be around! xo!

Alan + Molly / Grand Rapids Engagement Session

Alan and Molly drove from Traverse City for their engagement session and I couldn't be more thankful they valued this session enough to do so. We giggled and laughed and wandered all around Grand Rapids getting to know each other. Engagement sessions are much more than just pictures - it's a perfect time for us to hangout before the wedding day. Ultimately, I spend just as much time with the Bride as the groom does so it makes sense to become friends first ;) Am I right or am I right?

Their Northern Michigan October wedding will be AMAZING and I'm so excited they choose me as their photographer.

Doornbos Family / Holland Family Session

Family Sessions - Common Nowwwww. Is there anything more beautiful than a family spending time together with someone there to capture it!? I don't think so. Jen has been a friend of mine (and a talented photographer! Talk about pressure 😂😏) and I was so happy when she asked me to take pictures for her.

We went to Holland for their session and was so happy to see an overcast sky turn to that beautiful glowy light at dusk that we all dream about.

Thank you, Doornbos Family for the giggles and a night of running around capturing memories! If you don't already follow her on Instagram, you should. Like right now. @jendoornbos

Phil + Kelsi / Holland Wedding Photographer

My sweet Phil and Kelsi.  Whenever I look at these pictures, I'm immediately reminded of their amazing day. I'm reminded just how lovely a wedding is and how much God truly loves us. He loves us so much that he lets us be entrusted to love each other like he loves us - and that's exactly what Phil and Kelsi do.  The entire day, Phil just smiled at Kelsi and she was completely smitten to be his wife. Their families treated me like their own, the weather was absolutely perfect and the backdrop of Kelsi's family home was straight from a bridal magazine. This was truly a labor of love.

HEART EYES ALL DAYYYY

Kelsi and Phil - again, thank you so much for allowing me to be the one to document the beginning of your story. I am so thankful for this day. Knowing how in love you are now, I truly cannot imagine how amazing your life will be together in the future!

Jesse + Elizabeth / The Cheney Place Wedding/ Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer

As beautiful as they are kind and in love, Jesse and Elizabeth's wedding was perfect in every way imaginable. From the background and creative genius that is The Cheney Place, a wall made from the Bride's grandma's succulent collection (say what!?) to designs executed from the ladies at Events by iCandy - it's hard to go wrong. Their style is unmatched. Classic and elegant - I dig it and them.
